Hello! My name is Connie and I’ve been creating and crafting stuff since I was a kid – KoniKreate. I even remember creating Halloween costumes for my sister and I from box robots to rock stars. My favorite class in school was always art class, of course. And, as I got older, I used my talents on decorating my house into an antique, rustic, and eclectic home.
KoniKreate: Button Trees
Along the way, I have collected many things, one of which are buttons. I would find them, pick them up at flea markets, sales and antique shops. These were loved because I looked at each one as a mini work of art with an endless amount of possibilities. I would sort them by color and put in small misc. and canning jars for displaying (another collection of mine).
So, I decided that I had so many buttons that I needed to create a way to put them together with my love for arts and crafts. And, here we are! I hope you like them as much as I have enjoyed making them! All items pictured here are handcrafted by me & of course…and my antique button collection.
P.S. As for my Tree Art, the wood buttons were collected more recently. However, I have not stopped collecting buttons. Don’t think I ever will!
